Marikina City is well known for the quality shoes that we export to other countries. Aside from the shoes that we all love, Marikina is also well known for the different restaurants that sprouted along Lilac Street. Lilac is located at SSS Village along Rainbow Street. It can be found between the border of Antipolo and Marikina. I wanted to try all the restaurants here and I will start with Forget Me Not Cafe.
These are all the available cakes when we visited the cafe, the most famous of which is the Choco Lava Cake Ala Mode, served with vanilla ice cream on top.

The smoking area is located inside the cafe, with the sliding glass door serving as the partition form the main cafe.

The overall structure of the place is very nice. It's very homey and they even have a function room at the 2nd floor for special occasions like baptismal, debut, business meetings and other events.
The food taste very ordinary and a bit pricey. The cost is similar to other well known restaurants but would not measure up when it comes to food quality and taste. For the service, sad to say but it was very poor. I have to repeat the instructions thrice and the waitress still cannot understand what I wanted and ended up doing the wrong things. When we get in, their were only 2 tables occupied but the waitress served us foods that was supposedly fro the other customer and this happened twice. We had late dinner and maybe they are already tired, but still, they need to do their job since we are their customers.
By the way, I tried their best seller cake Choco Lava Cake Ala Mode and it tastes good. The chocolate cake is very moist and perfect for the vanilla ice cream. Too bad, I was not able to take a photo of the cake.
